However, we aren't really unaware of Walmart buying  upto 75% equity stake in the company. We can easily relate to the fact now that the forthcoming biggie, Walmart can cause a reduction in prices. As it was already prevalent that Amazon was guilty of luring away Flipkart customers to a great deal because of its promising products and cheaper price policy, Walmart claims to provide greater benefits to the consumers for its eminent price factor. Hence, a prosperous e-retail  market turbulence between amazon and flipkart can be expected in future.
